Taro Ikegami (Lapis Re: LiGHTs) đang thiết kế các nhân vật dựa trên thiết kế gốc của HACCAN (Secret of Mana remake, The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky). Yoko Shimomura (game Legend of Mana, Kingdom Hearts) đang soạn nhạc.

Anime sẽ ra mắt trong năm nay. Bộ truyện cũng sẽ phát trực tuyến.

Graphinica và Yokohama Animation Lab sẽ sản xuất anime. Hai hãng phim này trước đó đã hợp tác sản xuất phim điện ảnh mở đầu cho phiên bản làm lại của game Legend of Mana .

Legend of Mana (Seiken Densetsu: Legend of Mana) là game thứ tư trong loạt game nhập vai Mana/Seiken Densetsu của Square, sau Trials of Mana, và ra mắt trên PlayStation vào năm 1999. Phiên bản làm lại được ra mắt cho PlayStation 4, Switch và PC vào tháng 6 năm 2021.

Game gốc Seiken Densetsu -Final Fantasy Gaiden- (Final Fantasy Adventure) ra mắt cho Game Boy vào năm 1991. Square đã phát hành trò chơi Seiken Densetsu 2 (Secret of Mana) cho Super Famicom (SNES) ở Nhật Bản và Bắc Mỹ vào năm 1993. Square phát hành trò chơi nhập vai hành động Seiken Densetsu 3 cho Super Famicom vào năm 1995.
